Latest Update: Kumkum Bhagya Abhi to divorce pragya

In Kumkum Bhagya, looks like the makers have finally decided to put an end to the months-long Tanu drama. According to the latest spoiler, Abhi will get to know about Pragya's (Sriti Jha) truth and start helping her in exposing Tanu.

In the previous episode, we saw how Tanu brainwashes Abhi and asks him to take signatures of Pragya on the divorce papers, by cheating her. Abhi and Pragya reach the restaurant, where they had to meet their business client, while Tanu follows them to know, whether Abhi gets Pragya's signature on the divorce papers.

Abhi watches Tanu in the restaurant, and gets irked. He decides not to get Pragya's signature by cheating her. He reveals the same to Tanu, who starts her emotional blackmailing. Unfortunately, Pragya gets drunk. She starts behaving weird and reveals about her feelings for Abhi. Pragya also snatches the papers from Abhi. Thinking that they are driving license papers, Pragya signs on them.

Tanu reaches the parking lot, where Abhi gives her the divorce papers. Tanu is happy to see Pragya's signature on the papers. She reaches home and tells Alia about the same, who also gets happy that she will get her position back in the house. Dadi overhears Tanu and Alia's conversation, during which they speak of throwing Pragya out of the house, and Tanu getting married to Abhi soon. Dadi gets tensed and reveal the same to Rachana, and both of them chose to ignore Tanu. 

Abhi gets Pragya home. Seeing Abhi and Pragya closer, Tanu gets angry. Tanu even shows a torn photograph of Abhi and Pragya, and tells Pragya that she will gift it to her. Abhi gets angry on Tanu seeing the torn picture, and feels guilty for cheating Pragya.

Zee TV’s New Show ‘Vishkanya - Ek Anokhi Prem Kahaani’ to Premiere Today

Amidst bungalows reeking of wealth in an old-world Kolkata lane, stands an oddity — Ghosh Baadi. Run-down and seemingly ready to collapse into a pile of dust, it is clearly out of place. Within the walls of this large, sparse Bengali house stays a family of women who largely keep to themselves.  Kalpana Ghosh, a proud, yet financially struggling lady who uses her seductive charm to stay afloat in a man’s world, Kalpana’s mother and Kalpana’s daughters Tapur and Aparajita. They do not really mingle with the neighbors either.

Aparajita has grown up in a bubble, isolated from the rest of the world under the close surveillance of her ultra-protective mother. Tutored at home, Appu has never been allowed to step out of the house. To all her queries, she was simply told that she was suffering from an ailment and had to gain immunity before she interacted with the world outside.

Aparajita is, in fact, a Vishkanya. Oblivious to the poison running through her veins, she longs to live life in all its glory and is hopeful of a bright future. Little does she know that she is a mere pawn in a larger game Kalpana is playing and that the poison she carries will be used, one day, as a weapon of revenge.

Zee TV’s new fictional offering “Vishkanya – Ek Anokhi Prem Kahaani” will premiere today Mar. 28. Conceptualized by Vivek Bahl and produced by Nissar Parvez and Alind Srivastava of Peninsula Pictures, it is a unique, modern-day fairy tale romance. The love story begins to unravel when the family’s ultra-wealthy Marwari neighbors, the Mittals, return to India after spending many years abroad. With his good looks and charm, their son Malay is the most eligible bachelor in Kolkata. He gets smitten by Aparajita as soon as he catches a glimpse of her.

Aishwarya Khare, in her debut, will be seen playing the role of Aparajita, while Vin Rana will play the character of Malay Mittal. Former model and actress Rohini Banerjee will make a comeback to television in the role of the ultra-protective yet enigmatic Kalpana. Veteran actress Kashish Duggal will play the role of Nandita Mittal, Malay’s mother.
